Cubbies

Age 3 to 5
Preschoolers love Cubbie and his friends and enjoy learning along with this lovable bear. Children can relate to the stories of these characters and find out what the Bible has to say about God's love for us.

Sparks

Kindergarten to 2nd grade
Primary students enjoy time with Sparkie a little glow bug that is learning to share the light of Jesus with the world. Children learn about the concepts of the gospel and how to live for Jesus.

T & T

3rd through 6th grade
Upper Elementary students have an action packed handbook filled with lots of challenges, and stories in graphic novel format. The focus of their journey is the grace of God, and how to live in that grace and share it with others.

Trek

7th -8th grade
Middle schoolers are facing a barrage of input from media and peers that put a lot of pressure and influence on who they are. In Trek students are challenged to look into God's word for truth and then start to form answers for them selves about who they are, why they are here and who is with them.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15

Awana is a weekly club where children can come and learn about the Bible, and commit its truths to memory. There are songs, games, stories, and crafts. Children complete a workbook each year and earn badges and prizes along the way. If you stop by on Wednesdays at 6:30 during the school year, you will see a lot of smiles, and hear a lot of happy noise. For many kids, Awana is their favorite night of the week.
Our club is one of thousands of clubs associated with various church denominations in American and around the world. Here are some answers to our frequently asked questions.

There are Many ways to help out!

Verse Listener/ Helper

Every week the kids work through their books and recite their Bible verses to a leader who then signs their book when they recite it correctly. We could really use your help listening to verses and supporting the teachers. We also need helpers for game time.

Teacher

Each Awana group has a main teacher. This teacher gives a lesson each week and builds a very special bond with their students. The Awana curriculum helps them develop a lesson and supports them as they teach from the Bible each week.

Bring a Meal

We like to provide a meal for the teens coming to AWANA straight from practice.  Junior high/elementary arrives to eat around 5:30.   High school arrives between 6:00-6:30 (later during basketball season).  Please bring the meal to the church basement around 5:30 or earlier. You may stay and help serve if you can!  Plan to bring a main course and simple sides. Dessert is optional but appreciated! Plates and utensils are provided
